Please note that malware scanning and malware removal are two different services. Our care plans include preventive monitoring and malware scanning as specified in each plan; however, the removal of viruses or malware, cleanup of hacked websites, security incident remediation, and restoration of compromised files are not included in the standard monthly care plans.
If malware or a security breach is detected, Temaco Web Design will notify you of the issue and, where appropriate, recommend the necessary corrective action. Any cleanup, recovery, or restoration work will be assessed separately and quoted for your approval before additional billable work begins.

What is a care plan and why do I need it?
It’s ongoing maintenance that keeps your site secure, fast, and up-to-date—core/plugin updates, backups, security monitoring, and quick fixes. Think: peace of mind and consistent performance.
What is not included in the care plans?
Regular core/plugin/theme updates via staging when needed, daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring, security/firewall, malware scans, minor content edits, performance checks, website edits (depending on plan) and a monthly health report.
How do you report what has been done?
You receive a monthly report summarizing updates performed, uptime, backups, security events, performance notes, and any recommended improvements.
Can I sign up even if you did not build my site?
Yes—after a quick onboarding audit to ensure it’s eligible (licensing, hosting quality, security posture). We’ll fix critical issues first so maintenance is reliable.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes—Care Plans are month-to-month. Cancel or pause; coverage ends at the end of the current billing cycle, and we’ll provide a handoff if needed.
Do you manage license renewal for premium plugins?
Yes, we do. For all the sites we build and manage. We’ll remind you of third-party renewals or manage them on your behalf (if included in your plan), however they have to be licensed. Unlicensed plugins can block updates and reduce security.
